{Three Years Later}
Jamie was pregnant with her first child at my wedding. I asked my sister to be my maid of honour and I knew that Jeremy had chosen my brother to be his best man. I wouldn’t lie, I was nervous for this day. I had never pictured myself to be at this point with anyone and I was so happy it was with Jeremy. I remembered when he proposed. It was so simple and causal I didn’t know it was a proposal until he asked me out of the blue. I said yes straight away because he made me so happy. He had asked me asked me two years after Jamie and Alek’s wedding and a little more than a year later here we were getting married together. I asked Jeremy and he was more than willing to take my family name and was changing from Kane to Stormborn. I was happy that he wanted to do that, but I couldn’t but think why he was so keen. We didn’t pick a theme for our wedding and didn’t worry so much about the whole event. All that mattered was that we were going to be tied together for the rest of our lives.

I was sitting in a tent and was waiting before I would be called to walk down the aisle. It was an outside wedding like Jeremy had dreamed. I didn’t disagree and more than happy to be wedded in the summer. It only helped that the sun was shining and the air was warm. I sat with me face in front of the mirror. My sister had done my hair and makeup, she had Patricia and her second child Olivia with us in the tent. Olivia had blonde hair like Violet and shared simular brown eyes to Patricia. They had adopted another child within the three years and I could tell that she couldn’t be anymore happier. She had loved her children more than life. She showed that a motherly bond didn’t just exist with blood children, but with children you took under your wing as well.

There was a swift zip and my mother had come into the tent. I got up and hugged her. My mother smiled held up something. It was a book and then I recognised the red leather of the cover. I wondered what it was and why she had brought it to me. “Aisling I want to give you something.” My mother started. “Take it.” she handed the book over and I held it. It felt the same as it did when I picked it up all those years ago. She saw me looking at it. “I wanted to give you something old, something of mine for you to keep.” She then sat down on the couch in the tent.
“Mum what is this?” I asked. I couldn’t read it before, but maybe she could tell me what it was. I didn’t think I could magically read it now. “Sit here.” She patted next to her and I complied. “This book?” She started. “It is my gift to you.” I looked at her, what she means. “This book has my story from when I younger and the accounts of my days, my life and I want you to take and write in it. I want you to fill more of its pages in your story then pass this book onto your child. Let this by our legacy, our hope. Let this be the book of wisdom to our children.” She held my face as I came close to crying. She wanted this book to go to me. “Why my mum?” I asked. “Because I know you have suffered, and lived and will leave a lasting mark on your children and will have I hopes in you and your children.” She smiled. “Carry on this legacy Aisling.” She smiled with a twinkle of tears in her eyes. I just hugged my mother as I had nothing else to say. There was nothing to say. There was so much to write and yet it didn’t seem like I had time. “Don’t cry. You should be happy.” She said. She got up and was about to leave again. “Wait mum. I can’t believe I had forgotten this but I think I discovered a new power. I just remembered when you gave this to me.” Then there was a zip and someone  had their head in, “We’re starting now.” Mum then walked out and said “We can discuss this later, enjoy your wedding first.”
Screenshot-83
My dad came in soon afterwards and took my arm. I didn’t think this day would have come, honestly. I had never dreamed of it and now that it was happening it didn’t seem like it was happening, it felt like a dream. My sister then came in and smiled at me. I think I would have always been her baby sister to her. She came  around and made sure my hair was still in place. I ask to ask her something. “Did you feel like before your wedding?”
“Like what?” She asked.
“Like butterflies swimming in my stomach.” I said and she just laughed.
“Something like that.” I played around with my fingers and my father held me hands to stop me.
“Listen Aisling, it’s okay to be nervous.” My father said.
“Trust me Aisling if Jeremy loves you, which I do I know that he does, then he will be more than happy to see you, okay.” My sister said. I already knew that Jeremy loved me. We both knew that we loved each other, and that wasn’t the problem. I was just worried that the wrong music would play or… I trailed onto thought and my sister held my face. “Aisling, it will be okay?”
“Okay.” I had to trust my sister.
Screenshot-84
We were then called out. My sister left and my father and I took our time getting out. When I did, most of my nervousness fell away. The sun was shining and I could see through the little holes in the trees what it looked like. I tried to not to look until I walking down the aisle. I had asked Patricia to be my flower girl. She accepted and loved the fact she would be able to throw flowers at people. I laughed. I thought it was cute that she wanted to do that. She went down first and sprayed flowers around and when she got to the front she blew a pile of flowers on her father face. I had to admit it was a little funny. There was Luke hold their newest child and now they were covered in flowers like snow. Then Charlotte went down the aisle then Violet did, and soon it was my turn.

My father led me down. Dad had a good hold on me and I felt like he could stop me from falling, We turned past the last set of tree and then I was out in the open, in full view of everyone there. Jeremy was an only child so only his parents were there. I haven’t talked to them much as they were always too busy when Jeremy tried to talk to them. I knew it annoyed him, but there was always my family if he wanted to talk with them, and because we were getting married the offer was still there. I knew then why he would rather take my name.
Screenshot-86
Everyone was standing up by the time I was walking down. Jeremy was standing at the end of it. He was trying to hide the fact that he hating wearing a suit, but he had a look of happiness on his face. He didn’t have worry be in a suit he would be out of it soon enough. I think that he would hope that he wouldn’t have to wear another for the rest of his life. Ha. What if we had children then and if they got married then he would have a wear a suit. I wondered by then if he would warm up to them. He looked up and his dislike of suits vanished from his face and he started to smile, his suit was no long on his mind. I couldn’t help but smile as well. This is going to be one of the happiest days of my life and I wanted to remember it like that. Dad was in no hurry to get to the end, after all this was the last time he had to do this. I kind of wanted to get up there already.

Finally dad and I got to the end. He had let go and sat down by my mother – who sat by the front. I continued and stood in front of Jeremy. He smiled even brighter. He held his hands out and I held onto them. Then we were wedded.

We stayed by the garden and just moved to a bigger tent for everyone to hang around in. Because we got married in the morning we were to hold the reception in the afternoon. I stayed in my dress as it would have been too tiresome to change out it so I understood why Jamie didn’t get out of hers. Everyone just floated around and mixed about. Jeremy was sure that he didn’t want to talk to his parents.  I tried to get him to talk to them but he didn’t want to. I wasn’t going to push him. Patricia was dancing with her father and even mum and dad were dancing together with the music. Jamie couldn’t dance so much as she was in her final trimester and she would have gotten tired. Jeremy sat for most of it. Then a song that we recognised began to play. When it started I looked at Jeremy. I wondered if he had anything to do with this. He shrugged and I knew he did. I was strange to hear club music at a wedding. If felt so out of place but yet here it was at our wedding. Jeremy pulled me up and we then had out first dance.

It was hours later and we had left. We were going to stay at a little inn at the outskirts of Moonlight Falls. We didn’t see the need to travel half-way across the world. As long we were together it didn’t matter where we were. We quietly went to our room as it was dark and late and I was sure that other people would be sleeping. We set down our bags as we were going to say here for couple days. The room was small, cosy and warm. I turned on the light by the bed then I felt arms around me and a head on my shoulder. “Finally we’re alone.” was all he said. I chuckled and put a hand on his cheek. “What… don’t like being around family and friends?”
“Mmmm no but I can do without them being around for the moment.” He said slowly. I turned my head towards him and I was met with his lips. Turning my whole body around, I never left his lips. I held his shoulders.
“Okay Mr. Stormborn what do you want to do?
Screenshot-92
“Hmmm, I dunno Mrs. Stormborn… are we up to that stage yet were the dress can come off?” Jeremy said breaking away.
“I don’t know, are we up to the stage where we can take off the beanie?” I said. I had never seen him without it. I doubt that it was anything terrible under there. Well I hoped not. He looked at me thoughtfully. “Only if the dress comes off.” He then smiled. I held onto his neck and kissed him. He took this as an agreement and soon the dress came off and that left me in my underwear. Without any warming his clothing came off and then we were both in our underwear.  “Now the beanie.” I said. I didn’t wait from him to agree and I just took if off. I will admit it was a little strange seeing him without his beanie on him. He didn’t seem  fazed as his hair came over his face. I laughed a little. His hair sticked out everywhere. He tried to then get the beanie off me. I kept it above my head and away from him. He leaned into me and I moved out the way. He landed on the bed while I moved away from it. I let the beanie slip from my grasp when Jeremy was sitting on the bed. I kept him there sitting while I held his face. “A deal’s a deal.” I said. He just smuggled his head closer in front my shoulder.

He made a strange throat noise and soon I was turned around so my back was on the bed and he was over the top of me. He leaned down and held his head down to kiss him. From there it just continued and soon we were both out of clothes, and the passion only heated up and it didn’t take long before we entangled in each other. His hand brushed my scar. I had accepted that it would never leave me but I had accepted that. I shiver there. It seemed like my natural response. He stopped kissing when froze and then knew where his hand was “You okay.” He asked. I nodded “Yeah.” I didn’t want to think tonight. I wanted to spend my wedding night thinking of only of Jeremy.

I had never imaged my first time like that, well I had never really thought about it especially when I was with Michael. I think a part of me didn’t want to give myself up in that sort of way because I was a little afraid of him and I wasn’t ready with him, but with Jeremy there was no fear only happiness and love and I was willing have myself bare for Jeremy because I knew that I loved him and I knew that I loved him.
Screenshot-97
When the honeymoon period was over we drove back to the family home. We now had to build a life together. I was little scared. I didn’t know if I would be able to have children. I knew that I wanted at least one little one, but I didn’t know if that was possible and then how would he react. I hadn’t told him yet and I knew I should have told him but the time had never really come up.

When we went home I found my parents waiting for us. We got out of my car and walked towards them. They looked like they were going away as they had bags by them and a move-it van in one of the parking spots.
“Mum. Dad. What’s this.” I said as I walked up the stairs, while pointing to the van. My mother spoke first. “We’re moving away.”
“What do you mean?” I said. My mother laughed.
“Aisling, we’re moving out of this house and we are going it to give it to you and Jeremy.” My mother looked over to my new husband and smiled. “We wanted to say goodbye before we left.” I reached my parents and stood in front of my mother. “We moved your furniture in our old bedroom and we took ours out.” My father said.
“But where are moving to?” I asked.
“Just to a little house down the road. Don’t worry, we will be close by.” She smiling at me. Mum and dad then walked down the stairs. “You can also thank Alek and Luke for moving your furniture down.” My father said before getting in the van. “I will do.” I said before I watched my parents leave.

“What are we going to do now?” I said once Jeremy and I were both in the house. I knew that would have to happen but I didn’t expect it to be so soon or that I was going to stay in family home. “Well I can think of something.” Jeremy said and I could have sworn Jeremy was smirking. “It involves a bed, and no clothes…” His words trailed off and I felt his hand entwined in my own hands, but I just stood there. I knew I had to tell him. He stopped moving when he noticed that I wasn’t. “Ash, what’s wrong?” He said. He went from sensual to sensitive in a matter of seconds.
“I.. um have to tell you something.” I said.
“What is it?” He said and moved back towards me.
“I.. um. do you want kids?” I said.
“It’s a little early for that?” He said, trying to lighten the mood
“Jeremy, I’m being serious. Do you?”
“Well yeah. I would love a little us running about.” He said without hesitation. “What’s brought this on Ash? If you don’t wants kids that’s fine.”
“Oh god no. I want kids. I would love a little us too, it’s just…” I breathed out. “My family has a history and I fear that I might not be able to have any and I am scared because this isn’t a health problem it’s a supernatural on and..” I didn’t seem to notice a tear roll down my eye. He held onto me.
“It’s okay Ash, it’s okay. You never know maybe you will have children just fine, we can only hope that they will be fine.” I nodded into his chest. I had to trust that it would be okay. “When you’re not so sacred to try, we can try okay.” I continued to nod. We stayed there for a few minutes. It was strange, he was so understanding and wasn’t angry. He really cared and was willing to stay with me. “Can we watch a movie?” I moved my head up. He chuckled. “For you, of course.”

Jamie gave birth to her child they had a beautiful little girl which they named Sophie. Alek was so happy. I had never seen him so happy before.. Back at home, Jeremy work in the music career, working as a contractor and records dealer. I could say that he loved that job so much. He always had funny sorties about the bands that would come in and what some of them would be wearing. I had never seen him so happy about working so much before. On my end I was able to get a job in a business branch of Moonlight Falls and worked in the PR office in down town Moonlight Falls. It was a little overwhelming at first but I got used to it. It was different from working in a family store but it was still fun even if there was a lot of paperwork.

I had Violet over one day as I wanted to catch up with her. When she had come over she brought her youngest with her. She had set her down with her toys and I got her a cup of hot chocolate. “How’s life Violet?” I said while the machine was heating up. For some reason the smell of the chocolate made me somewhat queasy and thought nothing of it as it must have been a onetime thing. Violet took notice and looked at me. “What?” I asked. “Nothing.” was all she said.
“Okay…” Her chocolate was done and poured it. Then waft of it got me again. I stopped in the middle of asking about her again.
“Are you okay?” She asked me. I put down her chocolate and was going to reply but I had a raging urge to vomit. Deciding to trust it I ran upstairs and I was glad that I did. I could barely open the door before I vomited into the bathroom toilet. Violet came rushing upstairs behind me. When was done I flushed the toilet and that’s when she said. “I’m going to ask you a weird question but when’s the last time you had your period?” I looked at her. I had to think about it, but I guessed that it was before I got married. Then it hit me I looked back her. “No, wait you can’t think that… how?” I said. I knew how that happened but I didn’t know. “I could just be sick.” I said. It was true, I could just be getting sick.
“You and I both know that isn’t that.” She looked at me. I didn’t want to reply. Then she came into the bathroom. “Come one we’re seeing a doctor.” Then she pulled on my arm. She got her daughter and made sure that I got into the car.

As it turned out I was about four weeks pregnant. I didn’t expect it so soon or that I would even be able to conceive. On the car ride back I asked is Violet was upset if I was pregnant. She asked why would she be, but she already knew and just said that it didn’t matter anymore. She had accepted that she already beautiful children with her. I nodded and hoped that she was telling the truth to me, but it honestly looked like she was generally happy that I was having a baby. When we came home, Jeremy had arrived and I noticed that he was home early. I looked at Violet and she shrugged it looked like that she didn’t know why he was there either. I got out the car and he came rushing down. “Are you okay Ash?”
“Why wouldn’t I be?” I asked.
“Well, Jamie said that she saw you at the hospital with Violet and asked if I she knew if there was anything was wrong. She didn’t know and I wanted to see if you were okay.”
“Wait Jamie’s back at work so soon.”
“Don’t change the subject are you okay.” He asked again.
“Yes I am.”
“Then why where you…”
“I’m pregnant.” I cut him off. He was silent.
“You’re..”
“Yeah.” I said. He laughed out loud.
“We’re going to have a little us?” He practically called out. I couldn’t help but laughed too he was getting so excited. “Yes, we’re going to have a little us.” I laughed. He then picked me up and swung me around. Violet left afterwards, with her daughter.

Jeremy got to work on building a nursery while I got bigger. He was sure that he wanted to do that. We were in the nursery were we had a playful argument about the baby’s gender. SHE was big enough now that she could kick and moved about and it showed. I knew that our baby was girl. I could just feel it. She was going to be beautiful and smart like her father, but he disagreed and thought that out baby was a boy. We wanted it to be a surprise as we secretly loved this guessing game. I told him multiple times that our baby was a girl and he would ask me how would know. I just told him that it was “motherly instincts.” He would  say its wasn’t valid but I wouldn’t listen. I was sure that SHE was a she.

“Jeremy, honey you can’t do DIY, so please get Alek or Luke to come and help.” I said as I rested on one of the many boxes from IKEA for our baby girl.”No I can do this.” He said as I knew he drilled a screw in the wrong place. “Jeremy please. I want her to be safe.”
“Nope I am doing this.”
“Jeremy do you remember the last time you built something and do you remember how terrible that was?” I said. The sun shone through the window and lit up the yellow paint. As we didn’t know for sure so we went with a gender-natural yellow. We both thought it was cute. We had a list of names by the door so we could write them down when we walked in. The names we had so far were Kellyn, Georgia, Morgan (for a boy) and James. We still had time to think of more but I liked what we had on the list so far. “You don’t even have to call Luke, just Alek. You know that he can build.” I just heard a grunt. Then the door bell went off. “Maybe that’s Alek now.” I left the room and left the door open. I heard Jeremy call out. “He’s probably good at it because of his telekinesis.” He said. I laughed and called back. “You’re probably right.”
Screenshot-100
I made it down the stairs and I stopped when I saw who it was. It wasn’t Alek or even anyone that I wanted to see. I hadn’t seen this person in years and why were they here. He saw me through the glass. At first he looked at my face then his eye travelled down to my balloon shaped belly. From where I could stand I swore I saw his nostrils flare. I didn’t move. I didn’t know why he was here. I was glad when he disappeared. I didn’t have to think about him. “Hey Ash, it is really Alek?” I heard Jeremy’s voice come further down. When I didn’t respond he called out my name again. He then came down the stairs and his eyes travelled to what I was looking at. Jeremy got tense. “I don’t know what he’s doing here.” I said.
“That’s okay, we will make sure he leaves.” he squeezed my arm.
“Please don’t go punching him.”
“If he leaves then I won’t have to.”
“Please Jeremy I want our baby to have both their parents.” I pleaded. I knew those two hated each other but I didn’t want Jeremy to get in trouble because of him. I heard him sigh and I knew that I had gotten to him. I touched his face and he just looked at me. “What if he doesn’t leave.” he said. “Then we called the police.” He sighed again and nodded.

There was a muffle from the glass and it was Michael’s voice. “I know you’re talking about me so you might as well come open the door.” Jeremy looked back and him. I moved and opened the door. “Michael I already told you, I don’t want to see you again.” He just stood there like he hadn’t heard me. I knew Jeremy was standing behind me and I was glad he was here with me. I didn’t want to think what would have happened if I hadn’t married Jeremy and if he wasn’t with me now. “Why are you here Michael?” I said again. I didn’t need this stress. I had my baby to think about. “I’m just checking up on how my girl is doing.” He sneered more at Jeremy then me. I shivered I hated that he referred to me as his. I wasn’t his. He should have known that. I heard Jeremy grumble behind me in agreement with me. “So your pregnant. You know that should have been mine.”
“No it shouldn’t be yours.” I said before Jeremy could step in. “Michael go away. I not asking, I am demanding.”
“What if I don’t?”
“Then the police will come.”
“I don’t think that will happen.” He said before going after my wrist. I pulled back and Jeremy saw what he was doing and got in front of me and grabbed he neck and for the second time that I saw this happen Jeremy pinned Michael against the wall. “You don’t touch her.”  Jeremy said. I heard voices come from below me and saw that Jeremy had called the police and I picked the phone up. They asked me why I rung I said that we had someone on our property that refused to leave. The lady asked me more questions which I replied to and they sent out a car over. Jeremy held Michael there and when they came they asked what Jeremy was doing. “He went after my wife.” He said as he let go of Michael. He wrapped am arm around me. The officers talked to him and then to me and they chose to take Michael to the station and kept him overnight. I just hoped that would teach him not to come back. When the police left with Michael, Jeremy said “I’m sorry. I know that you didn’t want me to get physical with him but I couldn’t watch him touch you again.”
“Jeremy its fine, he shouldn’t have gone after me like he did. He should have known that he can’t do that.”
“Has he done it before?” I shook my head.
“Let’s just go back to building our nursery.” I said.
“Let me call Alek first.” He said and I smiled. He was finally taking my advice.
Screenshot-107
Months flew by and I was expecting. It was going to happen any day but I tried not to think about it so much. Then it happened. I was sleeping and I woke up in the middle of night with an unbearable pain. I held my stomach and instantly thought of my baby. I woke Jeremy from his sleep. He looked genuinely startled. The pain continued and I felt water drop down my leg. I think I knew what was going on. “Jeremy I think my water just broke.” Another hit of pain can and I was screamed. He jumped out of bed and instantly put shoes on and came to my side of the bed and helped me up. He help me down the stairs but I kept of suffering from pains it was too much. I tried to easy he’s strain but he ended up picking me up. Jeremy tried to stick to the speed limit but I don’t think that he did. We go into the hospital and everyone was quick about it and couldn’t shake that Jamie had them prepare because she would have had inside knowledge. Of course she weren’t on but it would have been nice to have her here. They put me in a wheel chair and Jeremy ran a long side it while nurses asked us questions about thecontractions. I wasn’t counting so they had to do everything.
Screenshot-109
Hours later and my little girl was born. I wanted to hold her as soon as I could and Jeremy was beside me the whole time. I was a little tired but that didn’t matter I had my little girl and so happy she was healthy. I hadn’t lost her. They gave her to me and I could only smile. I had my little one. “I told I was right.” I said breathlessly. He smiled.
“I guess you were. She is beautiful.”
“Of course she is.” Jeremy sat by the bed and held one of her fingers.
“What are we going to name her?” He asked. I thought about it for a moment. “Kellyn. Kellyn Jade.” I said kissing my little girl on the head.

I was able to leave with my little girl a few days later and we settled her in. She was such a sweet baby. She only every cried when she was hungry or needed a diaper change. Jeremy took to her like a duck to water. He loved his little girl so much. It was nice watching them get along. She was so adorable. She grew up fast up and soon she showed that she had my blonde hair and grey eyes. It seemed like daddy got no love on the physical side of Kellyn. Maybe she would be more like him personality wise when she grew older.
Screenshot-110
I surprised Jeremy again when I told him that I was pregnant for a second time.  I told him after Kellyn’s first birthday. He was happy that we were having another little one. This time my pregnancy with smooth and with no surprise visits from Michael and I wasn’t so stressed. I had to trust that I could carry my baby for a second time. We set up a second and this we just got Alek to build it. Jeremy knew that he wasn’t a DIY dad.

Soon the time came around again and I knew what I was in for. When the time came we went straight to the hospital and left Kellyn with Alek and Jamie. Jeremy knew what to do this time so he directed the nurses to what was happening. Ten hours of labour later I had a son. We called him Daniel. Jeremy named him this time. When we brought Daniel home Kellyn was excited. She was only one but she had already known that she had a baby brother. From watching this I knew that she would look out for him and protect him when they grew up. Daniel soon grew up too and showed off that he was a little clone of me as well.

We would continued living our lives and watched out beautiful children grow up. I would have to write in my book and pass it down to my own children, and time would tell which one that would be.
